Thank you for visiting my blog recently! =) Especially because you doing so led me to finding yours! I love your blog posts, and you have such an amazing way of putting things into words. Being 22 and a little confused myself, I can relate to many of the things you mention.
Thanks again, and wishing you all the best! You’ve earned yourself a new follower. :) So glad to meet you!

Hi! Stopping by from Tipsy Lit. Loved your piece! If I could offer one suggestion…..social media? I don’t see on here that you’re connected to any. It will really help to network your writing. :-) Your blog layout is lovely!

Hello, thanks for viewing my blog earlier. I have read a few of yours just now and I want to just encourage you. Just because you think deep thoughts doesn’t mean you’re alone. Not everyone is gifted to think and feel deeply. That makes us poets and writers and many other things that are beneficial to lots of others. Keep sharing and I hope you find that Life is Good. As disconnected as we feel we are sometimes, it’s never true. There are always others who are feeling and identifying with what you are writing. Keep walking…..

I feel into my ‘dark spot’ but I’m so happy to say (aside from a few steps back) things are really good and I have to give so much credit to my blog. It’s helped me find and relate to so many amazing people and hear their stories. Than you so much for commenting, I hope you’re considering sharing your deep thoughts for everyone as well :)

    I’m sixty-two and still have a blanket.
I use it to cover up when I’m laying back in the recliner, reading, watching TV, talking with my wife, talking to my dog or sometimes late at night when I’m just thinking about things.
There are times it actually does act much like a shield, cloaking me with the innocence and hope and dreams I had back when I was your age and try to maintain decades later when life will allow me.
I came across your blog through a mutual follower, read a number of your posts and you bring me back all those years..

Under the mug shot I have on my home page, I sum it all up:
“Headed into my 50′s figuring I finally had at least almost all the answers.
“Passed into my 60′s realizing I might not have asked the right questions to begin with.
“Oh shit … gotta start all over again.”

I wish I had been able to start out the first time the way you seem to be starting off now.

Let me share a one-liner that has followed me through these years:
“There’s nothing cornier than yesterday’s idealist or sadder than today’s pragmatist.”

    I’m sixty-two and still have a blanket.
And you, my wise and gifted little sister, have an amazing future ahead of you.
I look forward to listening to you grow, hope you’ll join me as I continue to do the same.
Or at least try my best.

    Thanks for sharing,
    Harris

Love your blog! Let me know if you need any guest writers; we seem to have had a lot similar experiences, so I would definitely be down to write something. Keep it up! :)

You’re blog is great. It relates to things I’ve been through. Your post “Just Another Day” is just amazing. Past couple weeks my bed and my puppy are my best friends. Life has been a spiral for me lately and reading your blog gives me hope. Thanks :)

That truly means a lot! I know what it’s like to lose motivation and feel like you keep getting kicked down in life so I’m glad you’re able to relate and can find even a glimmer of hope in my writing. Looking forward to reading more from you on future posts :)

Thanks for replying I literally just read like a bunch of your stories. They are amazing. I stay home on Friday watch Netflix too. lol WordPress has become my escape from reality and life itself I’m dealing with a broken heart and low self esteem but reading blogs like yours helps a lot. Keep up the great writing :)

I love responding to people and hearing other’s stories! If you ever want to send me an email, please feel free :) I always laughed at the concept of blogging (as I’m sure most people have) but after I started, I was amazed at how much better I felt, finding people to relate was great as well. Keep up the blogging and I hope you find the bright side in your dark days!
